Earthenware is an outdoor furniture collection inspired by South Western terracotta poetry. Informed by my childhood pinch pot making, each pice of clay uniquely holds the natural thumbprint of the earth. Because earthenware pottery is not yet fired, it is known to recycle back to the earth. This outdoor collection harnesses the artistry of ceramics by using textures from the earth. Each pattern in this collection reflects the topography of the desert by using organic shapes, natural brushstrokes, and terracotta tones.
