Anthropologie X Dettmann Designs is launching a new campaign titled "Flying Frida." Every month a limited edition wallpaper will be printed to celebrate the lasting contributions of heroic women around the world. This collection spotlights the esteemed work of Frida Kahlo and her desire to create beautiful artworks from her pain and suffering. “Flying Frida” explores how hardship can transform into beauty, growth, and knowledge. While moths often symbolize death, I’ve instead painted these fluttering fellows with such life and vibrancy to show how pain can metamorphose into beauty. Anthropologie X Dettmann Designs hopes that by introducing "Flying Frida," women around the world can learn and feel uplifted by the stories of courageous and fearless women.
