Regeneration is a materiality study that explores the depths of decomposition, transition, and re-birth. With the use of metal wire and cut canvas, the illusion of depth is created to reflect on my loss of self-identity. This piece invites viewers to view their lives as a regenerative cycle. Every one of us repeatedly goes through periods of hardship in order to find moments of beauty.
